Thanks for the video. I’ve got a ‘12 making rattling noise and started rebuilding the front end yesterday. I replaced Wheel Bearings, CV Axle & Ball joints on the driver front corner. Passenger side is this coming weekend.

Were you fishing at Big Bear this morning/afternoon? I thought I saw you getting out of your truck as I was on my way back down the mountain. Had pretty good luck at the dam today, trout were going crazy at the west end of the lake. Lots of jumping and surface feeding at the dam from 6AM-8AM. Guy next to me constantly had a fish on whereas I wasn't having much luck while using almost the exact same setup. He let me borrow his garlic scented spray on my mousetails and that really seemed to help. Ended up getting 3 nice sized keepers.

You and Huck outdoors need to do some creek fishing in the area man 🤙🏻 hopefully y’all can make a video on lytle creek or even bear creek

@TroutWest I'm late to the party but wanted to say thanks for the excellent drone footage! It's was so amazing to see that much water in Owen's lake, and the mirrored reflection of the mountains and sky! 👍 I also grew up hiking/backpacking/camping/fishing the Sierra Nevada, and had family in Hawthorne, NV, and family friends Dolly & Ambro Rosaschi, who owned part of the large Sweetwater Ranch in Bridgeport, CA along the East Walker River, which has excellent trout fishing. I spent a few weeks over multiple summers visiting the Rosaschi's, and as a young boy even caught a few decent 12"-13" rainbows out of the tiny creek that went through their "front yard" between the house and barn. The creek in their front yard is a small offshoot of the E. Walker River which is just across the road from their ranch house. I'm really curious how much, if any, water was flowing at Fossil Falls, which is North of Little Lake and just Southeast of the big Red Cinder Cone on the East side of HWY 395. If you haven't visited Fossil Falls, it's a really interesting and unique place and landscape that is right off the highway, and a quick stop and short trail hike. I'm also wondering if the small beehive shaped charcoal kilns are still intact and standing near Owen's lake old shoreline North of Fossil Falls? It's just a mile or two East of the 395 down a dirt road (but you can get into deep sand). Can't remember the turnoff/mile marker, but the kilns are noted on most maps. Thanks again for the beautiful drone shots.

It's the same thing in Oregon. Fish & Game hates Brown Trout. They would rather have anglers catch 'Silver Sardines'. They don't care about the Sportsman at all.

Cool spot and nice fish will start fishing soon. Will be doing more in that part of the state we have some trips planned.
